Tnola - ‘Nowhere’

From mesmerising calming tones to intimate soundscapes, newcomer Essex singer songwriter Tnola returns with her single ‘Nowhere’, an emotive ballad that makes sure to keep our heads swaying. This open conversation to herself reflects on feeling trapped within one’s personal space and addresses a relatable cycle of procrastination and monotonous routine; a struggle that has affected many from home during the pandemic.

She adds, “I wrote this over Christmas break. Honestly it’s about feeling stranded in your own space, a place you should have control. My favourite part is at the end where you hear the adlib 'nowhere' in a hushed sort of broken tone which really sums up the emotion I felt in the process of writing and recording this song, feeling lost and hopeless.”

A follow up from her release ‘FFS (Butterflies)’, the young artist won’t disappoint as we are won over by her vulnerable writing showcasing introspective melodies that echo the likes of Jorja Smith and H.E.R.
