Colleagues return with Abide

Swedish collective, ‘Colleagues’, return with infectious track, “Abide”.

After a five year hiatus, ‘Colleagues’ release their loose-limbed and ambient track "Abide". As described by the band, "Abide" “a study in people-pleasing, not a crowd pleaser” and this track is certainly pleasing to the ear. The refreshing nature of the track accompanied by the nostalgic vocals is the silky mix any listener could ask for.

The collective first came together in 2013 as a place for band members to “experiment with their music and visual arts”, with collaboration as the focus it was only right that they be named Colleagues.

Since their last official release, their EP ‘Visits’ in 2015, the members of Colleagues have been on their own paths, touring with the likes of Tove Lo, Grant and more, as well as, songwriting with Veronica Maggio, SKAAR and more. It's definitely clear that Colleagues houses an array of skill and talent. Now in 2022 they are preparing for their album release, which we are sure is going to have heads nodding, and we couldn’t be more excited.

It's been five years since Colleagues have released any music but "Abide" makes it feel like they never left .

With its sleepy harmonics and relaxed tone, "Abide" is the ambience you need right now.
